Students at Ackworth

Visitors to our school almost always comment on the way that the students will talk to them in a very easy and courteous manner. I believe this springs from a custom within the school where the students tend to group vertically in their free time. (ie, during break times one will often see a group comprising of students from different yeargroups) This is not the case in most schools!

This website also has many contributions from the students. Please use the links on the left of this page to explore or visit our webpage archive where there are many more ways to explore.

Several students have had their webpages transferred from our intranet to the internet. The Hong Kong guide is a particularly impressive effort. Some time ago we won a prize for our website and the animations gallery was singled out in the award. Although the Heroes section is not entirely made up of students, they are in the majority!
