Ackworth takes another digital leap as a new community website is launched!
View the recent works created at the Shigariki Ceramic Park in Japan by comtemporary ceramic artist Jo Woffinden. Jo is 'Artist-in-residence' at Ackworth School.
In what I hope you will agree is an interesting development, we have made an arrangement with Amazon to promote some of their books which we have enjoyed.
Great Ayton now have an Old Scholars website.
I am very happy to have a link to some Old Scholars who run a wonderful bakery in Whitby. Due to their early activity on the Internet, they have established an international clientele. Here then is the Botham site.
Coalmines have a very important history around here and we have opened a very positive dialogue with the National Coalmining Museum at Caphouse Colliery.

John Simkin is the driving force behind the amazing Spartacus website.
Willian Sieverdt was performing his brilliant puppet show, 'The Old Man of The Sea', as part of the Galway Festival when we met. The show has truly universal appeal in that it works in any language and appeals to all ages. He came to Ackworth and performed for us and a number of local schools. Wakefield now have a very useful set of local information pages. I am delighted to hear that they are planning to develop the waterfront! I am looking forward to the day when we get an email address for the Roads department so we can comment easily about the lunatic development of traffic lights around Pontefract!

Happychild is a VAST collection of resources which will keep the most determined surfer busy in the most positive way for hours!
