Welcome to the IT department of Ackworth School in Yorkshire, England.
We were pleased to be one of the very first schools in the UK to set up a school website. Since we feel very strongly that this is a dynamic medium we have kept changing the site and experimenting with different ways to show how our students perform and interact with this technology. The school is now happy to announce that we have a brand new online school resource at ackworthschool.com which will offer a huge amount of material relating to ourcurriculum and future development. This site you are reading will continue to grow as well and will act as a window into the life of the school in a different and complementary way.
